We know that new parents can get really, really tired, and that’s why we want to create products that ensure a good night’s sleep. Our cradle is designed for quiet and gentle rocking, similar to the pleasant movement of a pram, and helps soothe your baby. Because the cradle is compact, it’s easy for you to move from room to room. It’s perfect for the early days when your baby sleeps frequently – and you want them to be close to you all the time.

When can I begin using the cradle for my baby?
Our cradle makes the perfect first sleeping place for your baby – from newborn and up to 6 months (or max. 18 lbs/8 kg).

How is BabyBjörn Baby Cradle safe for my baby?
The cradle is tested and approved according to the EN 1130 safety standard. It stands firmly on the floor and has sturdy anti-slip feet. The airy mesh fabric makes the cradle cool and safe, and also gives you good supervision of your little one.

Can I wash the cradle textiles?
Children are wonderful, and they are also wonderfully skilled at making a mess – so we always make sure our products are easy to clean. The cradle’s mesh fabric, mattress and mattress cover are easy to remove and (of course) machine washable.

Is there bed linen that fits the cradle?
Yes, we have fitted sheets in soft, organic cotton, specially designed for the cradle. View our cradle sheets.

Can I fold up the cradle?
Yes, you can easily fold up the cradle, and it folds up to a height of just 5 in/13 cm. Perfect for storing at home or bringing along when you’re on the go.

Product Care

Cradle fabric: Machine wash, 40°C
Mattress and cover: Machine wash, 60°C
Wash separately with a gentle, bleach-free detergent. Do not tumble dry.

Child-friendly materials

All fabrics are kind to your baby’s skin and safe to taste. Free from health-hazardous substances and certified according to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Ö 07-091, RISE, Class 1 for baby products.

Tested and safe

The Baby Cradle complies with the ASTM F2194 - Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Bassinets and Cradles.

Suitable for use from newborn to approximately 6 months, maximum weight 18 lbs/8 kg.
Note! You can use the cradle until your baby begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 8 kg/18 lbs (approximately at 6 months).
